What is the EU ErP certification?
ERP = Energy related products, i.e. energy related products, are closely related to many important environmental factors in the life cycle of their production, distribution and use, such as the consumption of other raw materials and natural resources (such as water), the generation of waste, and the environmental pollution caused by the discharge of harmful substances into the environment. ErP Authentication Identification
he Relation between ErP Authentication and CE Authentication Identity
ERP directives are required by CE logo. If the products put into European market fall within the scope of CE, CE logo should be carried. In addition, some authoritative foreign certification agencies can provide ERP logo for market promotion.
Does Energy Star Accreditation Mark compliance with ErP certification requirements?
Not in line. Energy Star is an American certification mark and therefore cannot be used as a proof of compliance with EU directives. At present, the only sign that can be used as a proof of conformity is the European ecolabel.

How to do ErP authentication effectively?
Assessment of product conformity is carried out in accordance with the internal design control procedures in Appendix IV of the ERP 2005/32/EC Decree.
The simplest and most effective method of conformity assessment is to refer to Annex IV of the EuP Act, namely:
1. Provide LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) environmental footprint reports of products;
2. Provide test reports required in the implementation rules of ecological design;
3. Provide the required information;
But the most effective way is the first - internal control.
