What is German GS certification?
GS is the abbreviation of German "gepruefte Sicherheit" (security has been certified), and the GS logo is a German voluntary safety logo; however, it is highly valued by consumers. GS Certification Data Preparation

GS certification process
1) First meeting: Our Center explains the specific procedures and standards of certification to the applicant's product engineer, and provides the documents (application forms, etc.) to be submitted.
2) Application materials: The applicant submits the required documents. For electrical products, the applicant should submit the general assembly drawing, electrical schematic diagram, material list, product use or installation instructions, and the difference between series models.
3) Technical meeting: After the agent or testing agency has checked the applicant's documents, technical meeting will be arranged with the applicant's technical personnel.
4) Sample testing: The testing will be carried out in accordance with the applicable standards and can be carried out in any laboratory of the manufacturer or any laboratory of an inspection institution stationed in a country.
5) Inspection of factories: GS certification requires safety-related procedural inspections of production sites.

GS Standard Basis
GS certification is a voluntary certification based on the German Product Safety Act and tested in accordance with the EU Unified Standard EN or the German Industrial Standard DIN. It is a recognized German safety certification mark in European market. GS test of electrical products is carried out according to the corresponding safety standards for different products. Most of the test contents are similar to CE/LVD. Some products need to be tested with German safety requirements, and the requirements are more stringent.
