SAA certification
SAA certification for Australia's standard body is the certification of Standards Association of Australian, so many friends call it Australian certification. Electrical products entering the Australian market must conform to SAA certification. There are two kinds of SAA logo, one is formal recognition, the other is standard logo. Formal certification is only responsible for the samples, and the standard label is subject to each factory review. The certification scope of SAA is mainly divided into quality management system, environmental management system, occupational health and safety management, information security management, and the application period of common products for SAA certification in Australia is 3-4 weeks. If the product quality does not meet the standard, the date may be extended. If the delivered product is not certified, it will be detained or confiscated or fined.
Authentication method
In the scope of SAA certification, the application for SAA certification by Chinese manufacturers is mainly limited to product certification. According to the different types of products, product certification mainly adopts two ways: "formal recognition" and "standard mark". Among them, "formal approval" only requires the manufacturer to provide product samples and carry out laboratory testing according to SAA product standards. The "standard mark" requires factory inspection as well as sample testing. Generally, factories are required to have an effective quality management system in the production process of products for certification.
